A fool with valid reasons is still a fool.

The difference between a moron and a smart man is that a smart man learns from his mistakes whilst a moron repeats them over and over again. People change, there is no helping it. Some people tend to learn from their experiences and in turn become better as a person. But then there are others who choose to repeat their mistakes without learning a thing untill someone else comes and picks up the pieces. Now isn’t that how our society is built? The smart ones could be seen as the pillars of society holding everything up, with morons standing on top as dead weight. When the morons outnumber the pillars, that is when our society will crumble. I wish it was as easy as pointing fingers to decide who is considered smart or foolish, but most often, a fool is a fool thanks to experiences in life. But with all things considered, a fool with valid reasons is still a fool.

But then again, maybe I am just overthinking things.

We’re all fools, so don’t fool yourself into thinking otherwise! =P

Like you said: fools are fools because of experiences in life. The only hope lies in the “smart ones” to give them experiences to balance out their….foolishness. And you are profiting on that aswell, losing another dead weight to carry.

But it can be a pain in the ass sometimes to always be the pillar…in the end it is just about supporting when you have the energy because if you do it even when you don’t you will break down and take everyone with you.

…and just give the ones with no hope of getting outbalanced a good kick in da gonads ;)…or gonadettes…..

    ….that was a weird word….

Yes, what you say is true, but it still remains that a fool will often remain a fool untill saved my somebody else. If we benefit from helping them or not is not really the point. The fact that they need help to begin with is. Then again, I am not saying that it is a bad thing. It is just how the world works.

Besides, gonadettes is a lovely word which we should all use more often. 😉
